Nancy Avera Nancy brings historical characters to life. By becoming one with the characters, she explores their thoughts, feelings and dreams. She dresses in a gown typical of the period. Nancy promises to delight the old and young (children over twelve) with stories of "Women of the Civil War", "Wives of the Presidents," and "Mary Lily Flagler" (Henry Flagler's third wife). Storyteller Kaye Byrnes has shared stories with children and adults of all ages. She has brought the magic of stories to schools, libraries, retirement communities, churches and a variety of other venues, including The Florida Folk Festival and First Night Atlantic Beach. Her multicultural repertoire of folktales, fables, fairy tales and classic literature captures the imagination and touches the heart. “Stories are a magical link between teller and listener”, says Byrnes. “Through the story, we move together to another time and place, each in our own way, through our own imagination. Chris Kastle Critically acclaimed storyteller, musician, songsmith and writer, Chris Kastle has toured the United States, Canada, Europe and New Zealand. Her performances captivate, entertain, and transport people of all ages with a spoken word repertoire which includes personal, traditional and original material. Chris also performs traditional and original songs, accompanying herself variously on guitar, fiddle, penny whistle, mandolin, or drum. As a recording artist she will release three CDs of original and maritime songs and stories during February 2011.
